Regarding private packing, the cheapest with 5-10kg matcha is 200 yen per package.
Most vendors do not do any private packaging with such a small amount. We do.

Of tea leaf weight, the math is that 30% stems weight come out, and then of that,10% tencha weight comes out between tencha and matcha. If you wish to buy uji leaves, MOQ is 12 tons.
The truth about the names on packaging and branding
Uji – Uji means real provenance from Uji, Joyo, or Kumiyama and is hand-picked and sweet.
Wazuka – This is not really Uji, and in fact Wazuka used to make confectionery low grade tea. They only joined the luxury look late to follow popular esteem of Uji. They are not real Uji now.
Amazon “Uji” matchas – These lines use actually Kyoto leaves with Uji 1% leaves, so “blend”
Supermarket “Uji” matchas – Stores use Samidori, Asashi cultivars with Uji 1% leaves too.
